First Glimpse of The Course

Details of the course for the British Cycling National Youth Circuit Race Championships are now released for Paisley 2015

Paisley Town Centre will be locked down for a whole day of top class Youth bike racing on Sunday 12th July.

The Start / Finish line is on Gauze Street directly on top of the bridge over the White Cart River.

From the start it's a left hand turn down St Mirren Brae before levelling out on Causeyside Street. Turn sharp right at the Russell Institute onto New Street. Listen out for the entertainment at the specially opened Paisley Arts Centre before turning into New Street proper.

Power up the drag to the top of New Street and turn left onto the High Street before making the left turn onto Storrie Street.

A fast descent and sweeping left hander as you pass the University before bearing right and over onto Orchard Street.

Take the tight corner onto Bridge Street.

Sadly, there's no time to take in the delights of the Town Hall and the historic Paisley Abbey as you sweep round onto Gauze Street and up to the finish. Repeat many times

Go-Ride in Scotland

What is Go-Ride?

Go-Ride is Scottish Cycling's Club Development Programme aimed at improving both young riders and clubs. It focuses on volunteers and young members - improving coaching standards and increasing the number of young riders with access to coaching activities.

Go-Ride supports the creation of school-club links, which helps provide clubs with a constant influx of new young members and helps everyone work towards our shared vision of more young people, more active, more often in cycling.

The success of Go-Ride is dependent upon partnerships between Scottish Cycling, clubs, schools, local authorities and voluntary organisations Further details on Go-Ride
